Lucknow: In a commendable initiative promoting social responsibility and humanitarian values, the NSS Unit of BBD University organized a successful Blood Donation Camp on the auspicious occasion of “Akhil Jyoti.”
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, all coming together with a shared commitment to saving lives. The event reflected a strong sense of community service, with donors stepping forward to contribute towards a noble cause.
The programme was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Viraj Sagar Das, S. K. Srivastava, S. C. Sharma, S. M. K. Rizvi, Sudharma Singh, and Prabhash Chandra Pathak. Their presence and encouragement added significance to the initiative and motivated participants.
NSS Programme Officers and faculty members also played a key role in organizing and facilitating the camp, ensuring smooth coordination and maximum outreach among volunteers.

Organizers highlighted that each unit of blood donated has the potential to save multiple lives, reinforcing the importance of regular voluntary blood donation. The camp not only contributed to healthcare needs but also raised awareness about the life-saving impact of such initiatives.
